Cris Pimenta is a self-taught artist who discovered his talent for painting already in the mature phase of life, when passed through a long season in Vienna, Austria. There, with a little guide in hand and ready to walk a lot, street by street visited the treasures of this city. In addition to being bathed by the waters of the River Danube and the seat of Imperial Palaces, Vienna houses in its countless museums, works of art of great artists of all ages and all styles. The explicit contact with art in every corner of the city functioned as a trigger the awakening of his gift for painting. With a few sheets of paper, a few brushes and a small set of watercolors, color began to express feelings touched by the experience. The playful act to paint and reflective and provided through the metaphor of art, a kind of catharsis.
Returning to Brazil, his homeland, which was to be a hobby became her main activity. Thereafter, he devoted his time exclusively to painting.
